Our theme for the 2012 Conference held in St. Louis, MO will be "Gateway to the Globe". The posters and essays need to reflect this theme. The winning poster will be used as the program cover for the 2012 conference with recognition going to both the student and the teacher. The other top entries will be used on our popular colored note card sets that are sold at the FLAM conference. Find all information and applications here
Each year, FLAM awards a $1000 grant and a $500 grant to be used for improvement of instruction. The grant money may be used for innovative classroom projects, supplies, realia, special classroom materials, travel, meals, lodging, conference registration, and admission fees. Please follow the guidelines found here.
