Thanks to everyone for a great 2011 conference! Our attendance was up 22% with the move to St. Louis. Next year FLAM will once again be held at the St. Louis Sheraton Westport Hotel on October 19-20, 2012. Our theme is "Gateway to the Globe". A very special event will take place in Jefferson City on January 9th. Missouri's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is hosting an International Education Summit which is free and open to all educators, business leaders, and others interested in the impact that languages can have in building a strong economic future. This is an important opportunity to communicate the importance of language learning in our state.
